This is the Dakar Yellow BMW E90 M3 which was originally tuned by Powerbeast and the folks at Illinois-based tuner, IND took it a step further by adding an array of other upgrades. The car’s owner, Felix handed his creation over to IND, were they worked on enhancing the M3′s looks both in the interior and exterior as well as adding more detail to the engine bay.
To get you up to speed, the Dakar Yellow BMW M3 boasts several modifications which were adding by Powerbeast including a KW Club Sport Suspension System, new Brembo brakes which tuck in behind BBS FI alloy wheels, E90 M3 carbon roof by IND, a Vorsteiner GTS-V front lip, a 3D Design rear diffuser, and a ESS supercharger which takes the V8 to a staggering 600 horsepower, easily making it one of most capable E90 M3′s to date.
However it doesn’t stop there. Now it’s IND’s turn. They started by adding a pair of original carbon fiber mirrors supplied by the BMW Motorsport program and then moved on and focused on painting the various aftermarket components. Black gloss paint was used in the hose clamps in the engine bay and in the speaker surrounds located inside the car. Carbon fiber strut bars by Dinan were used the engine bay. IND continued their work by painting ESS supercharger and diverter valves, Dakar yellow painted ignition coil covers, as well as giving the ESS intake manifold a slap of Lamborghini’s Grigio Estoque paint.
A good chunk of the upgrades were made inside and that’s were we will go next. IND continued the Dakar Yellow color scheme by re-stitching the BMW Performance seats and the backs features a high gloss black with yellow flake theme. The dash, door panels and other trim pieces were fitted with an array of black leather and Alcantara fabric. A M3 GTS center arm rest was also fitted the M3′s interior. A custom roll bar cage painted in Dakar Yellow and was welded to the rear seats and yellow seat belts were added in the front.
The Dakar Yellow BMW M3 by IND is most likely one of the best programs out there for the E90 M3. In fact its one of the best modified builds we have ever seen.
See for your self!
