German super car maker, Gumpert has had a troubling past, with coming close to near bankruptcy last year. Well their back with a strong showing at Geneva as they have lined up an investor that jump started the company.
To show the world that they are still a strong company they have brought along the Apollo S to the Geneva floor. This black and red Gumpert Apollo S features an Audi-sourced 4.2 liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 750 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The car sprints from 0-62 in 2.9 second and is good for a top speed 224 mph (360 km/h).
What is more exciting is that Gumpert stated that they are promising an all-new model which is in the works and will debut later this year “at a major trade fair”.
