Today, Chevrolet decided to release a couple of photos of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible before it’s official debut early next week at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Since the Stingray’s release back in January, there have been many renderings and sketches of the convertible version of the car. Well today we get to see a glimpse of whats in store for the convertible as details will become available in next coming days.
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is expected to have the same 6.2-liter V8 engine with about 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque strapped to either a 7-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
From first glance it sure measures up of how we thought it would be with a couple of add-ons. If you look really close you’ll see new air vents that were orginally located in the rear were moved to the underside of the car to accommodate the power folding roof. Also this particular model has been fitted with the optional Z51 Performance Package which includes split five-spoke alloy wheels and upgraded brakes. This is only some of the features that the Z51 Performance Package will offer. Full details on the package and the Corvette Stingray Convertible will be announced at Geneva.
